I was pleased to win a gift certificate with my painting, "Spring Waters", 8"x 10", today at the Boathouse at Springfield Lake, Springfield, Missouri. This was potluck day, for the season ending, Springfield Plein Air group. We had a nice group and a good time. Check it out on their facebook page. After the dinner, I drove to the other side of the lake to the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery to see Bob's headstone that was just set in place this week. It was nice, but a little bittersweet to see it carved into the stone. I'll post a little photo of that also. Springfield Plein Air group, the Boathouse at Springfield Lake

Country Barn, 6"x8", Oil on Panel Favorite Crossing, 6"x8", Oil on Panel Quiet Grazing, 6"x8", Oil on Panel These are my small studies I started at the Starke workshop in Bolivar, Missouri. I painted the last little touches in my studio. I decided they needed a couple little birds flying by, and the pasture was too empty without the horses grazing.

"Lover's Lane", 8"x 10", Oil on panel What a beautiful way to be out enjoying the day. Painting at the Ha Ha Tonka Spring, and visiting with the nice folks hiking on the trails. Two sweet newlywed couples came by enjoying their honeymoons in our pretty State, hence the title of this painting, "Lover's Lane". Made my day to see young love at work. I also met with Bill Wood at his nice frame and art center, "Art Center & Gallery", Camdenton, MO. He will also be representing me starting today. This will be available once it drys a few days.
