"Asian Ginger", 11"x 14", Oil Summer heat has hit so I've been painting in the studio the last couple weeks. I found this pretty little Asian style jar at the Waverly Gallery, so I had to have it for a still life. I wanted to keep the background loose, so I'm pretty happy with the results. I have had lots of nice comments and interest in it on Facebook. I'm entering it in a show.........so on hold until I hear the results on around Sept. 24th. Keeping my fingers crossed.
