Susan Neese McKinney Ramblings

I've enjoyed a few relaxing hours on the lake with Bob, even if the fish weren't biting this week. It's nice to just sit back and listen to an owl hooting and the turkey gobbling in the distance. While the lake was so still I took some photos of the trees reflecting in the water. There isn't much color in the trees yet, just the occasional red bud tree, and some dogwood blooms a little closer to home. It's times like this that I try to soak it all in, and keep the feeling as long as possible.

Here are a couple great photos I took while in California last week. We were blessed with nice weather and good company. These were taken at LaJolla Beach.

We had a nice trip to beautiful San Diego last week. And a good visit with family, but it's always great to get home. I touched up this small still life and signed it. We're having early Spring here, so suffering from Spring fever, and early storms. Can't wait to get outside to paint. Enjoy the weather.....
