Orleans Trail Marina  This is on the easel waiting for the finishing touches.   I started the painting on location, or plein air as it's called.      There are more masts to paint in and all the reflections.    The reflections are what adds the spark to the painting, that and the highlights.    I have a photo reference, but hoping I can get back to the marina to finish it.   As long as they haven't moved the sailboat that is.......

Daisy with haircut Daisy got her Summer haircut a little late.    She looks like a different dog,  but seems to enjoy it.   It should be grown out before the cold of Winter.    I got her a new toy, so she's a happy camper....

This new blog title seems to fit me better.   Going many directions, hits it right on the head.....ha.    Life is a little crazy for us right now.    Some good days, some not so great.    We're just taking each day as they come, and making the most of time with family and friends.    I don't think anything can turn your life upside down anymore than "Cancer".    Life as you know it flashes before your eyes......and then is gone.    Bob is being brave and courageous with his fight against lung cancer.    We never expected his Vietnam stint to come back and bite him in the butt, but that's just what happened, and is happening to many other veterans of our generation.    Here's a photo from those army days, and love to all our family and friends for the thoughts and prayers.
