Feb. 21, 2009 "Fall At It's Best"
It's cold outside, so decided to get some painting done. This is another painting started last October. It's a view above the small dam, at the trout hatchery. I couldn't resist painting this fisherman. Although one fisherman left and another stood in his place, so I had to revise it a little. There were many fishermen and women coming and going, but that's what you have when you paint plein air. I just get in a "zone"....and look past them, and then hardly notice they are there. Those seriously fishing, hardly notice me too. "Touche" .

  1. Susan,
What a wonderful painting. Really love how you have captured the feeling of the place and the moment.
