November flew by this year. We have many blessings to be thankful for. The rush starts as the holiday season begins. I'm really enjoying this beautiful 70 degree weather we're having as we get rid of the fall leaves and get prepared for the Winter season. Most art festival's are over and the grand-kids now shift into their inside school sports. It's always enjoyable to watch them participate. The above photo was taken at Dogwood Canyon, Plein air Paint Out in October 2012. More updates coming soon. Suz

This is a tribute to a wonderful art friend who died a few years ago, Dennis Yates. He was and still is an inspiration to me. I uploaded this painting of mine before, but this is a better photo of the painting. Dennis let me use his original photo to work from. I've had many offers to purchase this, but I promised him I wouldn't sell it, so it graces my brother's dining room in Alabama. This is "Apple Basket", 16"x 20", Oil on canvas. Wedding at Dogwood Chapel, Branson "Flag Day", 14"x 11", Oil on canvas Where has the time gone?! Covid is better but still some new cases going around! Since the last post my world has changed. In 2021, 8 years after losing my late husband Robert, God blessed me with a wonderful man, Steven McKinney. He had also lost his wife. Who would have guessed that we would meet on Facebook Dating! Ha. We hit it off from the start with many family and interests in common. After a short engagement we eloped on New Years Day, January 1st, 2022. Enjoyed a dream honeymoon in Honolulu and Maui and trips to Arizona. Many more shared times and trips to come. Thankfully Steven supports my painting passion so I've managed to do some new pieces along the way. I plan a new art studio to be built behind our new home in Bolivar, MO. Prayers and thoughts for all who were killed and devastated by the terrible fires in Maui. So sad to see that all we enjoyed last
