 I had a great time painting Tuesday with friends De and Cheryl.    I met them at Dogwood Canyon, located just South and West of Branson, MO,  off of hwy 86.    It was a beautiful, warm, 80 degree day, with some wonderful folks hiking, jogging, biking, segwaying, and riding the tram back into the Canyon.    We weren't disappointed, with many dogwood's blooming throughout the Canyon.    I started this painting there, and finished off with the highlights in the studio.    They have many weddings in this pretty little chapel.    While I was busy painting,  visitors to the chapel where serenading us with ole gospel songs and ringing the chapel bell.   Bid Now!     Thanks for looking, and love to hear your comments.  email:  susanneese@windstream.net

I'll be participating in an up-coming show starting this week. Springfield Regional Arts Council(SRAC), will be having it's 2010 annual Members Show. The opening reception will be held for the public during First Friday Art Walk, June 4th, from 6 to 9 p.m. The Member's artwork will be the featured artwork during the annual membership meeting and Ozzie Awards held at The Creamery Arts Center on Thursday, June 16th. The exhibition will run through June 28th. I entered two of my newest paintings. A pastel, "China Rose", and an oil, "Marina Morning". Stop by and see the show if you get a chance.
